Coconut is the BOMB when it comes to healthy

Coconut OIL is the BOMB… when it comes to healthy FAT Way back in the day everybody thought fats like coconut oil were unhealthy and contribute to diseases and other disorders including heart disease. Well you know, there are many unhealthy fats but coconut oil is not one of them. Don’t we all love our favorite fats? In fact, coconut oil is actually a heart, brain healthy food that can keep your body running smoother inside but also can keep your body oh so soft on the outside. It may even aide in weight loss!

I use it every day, since I have started using it, wow, wow, wow, have I seen a huge difference on the outside and felt an amazing difference inside! The many BENEFITS of COCONUT OIL The scientists are hard at work researching the many benefits of coconut oil. Current studies show that the intake of coconut oil can help our bodies mount up a powerful resistance to viruses and bacteria, which can make us very sick. It also can help to fight off yeast, fungus and candida. You know, in some countries they say cancer is a fungus. Could coconut help cancer victims and perhaps stop this deadly disorder?

Coconut oil is a natural antibiotic, the body will actually recognize it as an aide that is there to help. Not like a synthetic antibiotic, the body sees synthetics as fakes or un-natural or something that is not supposed to be lurking around inside. All drugs are toxic, that’s why they have to be regulated by the FDA. The body wraps all toxic chemicals in a cocoon of fat. That’s why we don’t eat the fat of animals. Toxins are stored in the fat.

Coconut is also a natural antimicrobial, germs just can’t grow in it. Talk about a healthy hand sanitizer! I will use coconut oil any day over toxic hand sanitizers loaded with alcohol, they just put a bigger burden on your already over worked liver and adrenals. We need to just face it, our environment is just down right toxic! Toxins are everywhere! From the gas pump, our water, our food, our personal health care products, make up, toothpaste… literally everywhere. We need to be aware of what we are eating and putting on our skin day after day! Once in a while won’t hurt, but over time day after day of extended use, these toxins affect us in ways we do not even realize.
What’s COCONUT OIL have to do with CHOLESTEROL and HORMONES? Coconut oil may also positively affect your hormones. People who take coconut oil may experience improvements in thyroid function and how their body handles insulin and controls blood sugar since coconut can help improve insulin, naturally within the body. Coconut oil can boost thyroid function helping to increase energy, metabolism and endurance. It may aide in digestion and help to absorb fat-soluble vitamins. Coconut taste great, it is great to cook with or just add to your favorite drink.

Why s coconut oil one of the best fat for your body? Coconut oil has lauric acid in it which increases the good HDL cholesterol in the blood to help improve cholesterol ratio levels. Coconut oil lowers cholesterol by promoting its conversion to pregnenolone, a molecule that is a precursor to many of the hormones our bodies need.

We are hormones from the top of our head to the soles of our feet. Most people know about estrogen and testosterone, only 2 of the many hormones that your body has to make. Insulin is a hormone, a very important hormone. When your body runs out of minerals, your body can no longer make hormones, when the body can no longer make hormones, the gland systems begin to fail, once the glands begin to fail, well it’s not long and all the vital organs are seriously compromised. This is the natural way the human body shuts itself down and dies. So keep taking those vitamin and minerals, BUT... don’t run out to the vitamin store just yet. You need to educate yourself on supplements. Check out my “Questions to ASK about Supplements” BEFORE you buy any supplements. You may be doing yourself more harm than good.
Coconut can help restore normal thyroid function. When the thyroid does not function optimally, it can contribute to higher levels of bad cholesterol. How does coconut help keep weight balanced? Coconut are not only delicious, but they have special fats called medium chain triglycerides or MCTs. Breaking down these types of healthy fats in the liver leads to efficient burning of energy.

The body needs something for fuel and I think coconut oil is perfect fuel for the body. I love it in my protein shakes every morning.
One study in 2009 showed that women who consumed 30 milliliters (about 2 tablespoons) of coconut oil daily for 12 weeks not only did not gain more weight, but actually had lowered amounts of abdominal fat, a type of fat that is difficult to lose, and contributes to more heart problems. Who would of thought coconut is a perfect fat and perfect MCT for your body.
We all need help with healthy aging! Coconut oil has a positive antioxidant action in the body. This means they help our body stop the damage to other healthy fats and tissues in our body. Oxidation is considered a major contributor to cardiovascular problems and skin aging. Coconut oil can actually help our bodies reduce the need for antioxidant intake.

Some studies are showing tremendous results for Alzheimer’s patients and brain injuries. The brain is 15% oil and it desperately needs a healthy oil on a daily basis. I think it may have unbelievable benefits for the brain.
Coconut oil is great for skin, hair and ears! Coconut oil is a wonderful moisturizer for skin and hair. I love it in my bath water too, along with my 35% H2O2, lavender and Epsom salts. Let me know if you want to get a copy of the One Minute Cure and the article called “The fountain of Youth”.

Coconut oil has good amounts of the antioxidant vitamin E,
which is very powerful and protective. I use it every day. Always look for cold pressed, virgin, organic coconut oil. Coconut oil on your skin will put a protective coating on your skin helping to reduce the absorption of toxins and pesticides through your skin. Clay it on after a nice hot soak in the tub, not only is it great for you but coconut oil is great for baby after a bath. It is the only option for me. Baby powders and lotions are loaded with chemicals.

A study in 2005 with 120 babies showed that a coconut oil massage is safe and has numerous health benefits. How can I use coconut oil?
Coconut oil works in many recipes like baked goods. It taste great in bread recipes, I even use it in my bread machine to make breads, especially good in zucchini and banana breads. Coconut oil is great to fry foods in, like stir fry or any vegetables. I love to saute’ onions and garlic, where it offers a surprisingly different and delicious flavor. You can make a whole dish of onions and just garlic, it is quite amazing. Add a spoonful in your coffee or pile on your oatmeal to make it even creamier texture, while staying healthy.

Unlike olive oil, coconut oil doesn't become toxic when it gets too hot. Coconut oil can withstand high heat – making it my only cooking oil. NO FAT, LOW FAT…what? No fat, low fat foods have gotten us all in trouble. Your body needs FAT, healthy fat, as I said for fuel. Having healthy fats and plenty of protein is a wonderful way to control blood sugar, stave off mood disorders and depressive feelings. Really… something that does not have SIDE EFFECTS?

Most of the literature today claims that coconut oil is quite safe. Of course we have to use common sense, you can overdue it with anything. I normally use at least 3 tablespoons a day. While no formal study has figured out the exact amount for optimal benefit, it appears one to two tablespoons a day can be beneficial. Who knows in twenty years, scientists may just discover coconut oil was the original fountain of youth! My Favorite Guilt Free Desert’s Try these powerful protein shake recipe.
