Here Are 7 Things You Need To Know Before Going To The Hospital:
1. Look up every drug and medication that they are giving you, if possible before they give it to you. You need to know what the side effects, are as many drugs put extreme stress on some organs. I would never take more than five drugs at one time. Doctors in the know, will tell you, you are more apt to die from the drug interactions then whatever you were trying to treat. People do not understand how powerful the drugs and medications that are coming out today are. I would even want to know what it comes from and where it comes from, a little research right here may save your life. Children's livers are not fully developed until they are 12 years old, their body has no way to detox all those poisons. use extreme caution when giving children any medication . Always read the labels and do your own research. Nobody cares about you more than you. When your body is trying to heal, it needs all the energy it has for healing. All medication is toxic and it can put more stress on the body and makes the body work harder . The body naturally will start to go in a detox mode to detox those poisons. The body will always detox before it can begin the healing process. It's the way it is made. Detox is first because it has to protect you from all the toxins and poisons in our environment or you would certainly die from the toxic load. We do not realize how many toxins we are consuming every day in the water we drink, and the food we are eating, and even in the air we are breathing. You are breathing about a hundred and fifty toxic chemicals every time you pump your gas. Stick the hose in the tank and walk away from it until it is done filling up. When you buy a new car it is full of toxic chemicals from all the materials they use in the plants when they build them, especially from adhesives. when you build a new house, you are bringing all kinds of toxic chemicals and due to the construction site, carpet is one of the many. Our water has over 2,100 known toxic chemicals in it. There are many things you can do to help yourself detox on a regular basis. that's what I do to keep from getting a toxic overload.
2. Begin a journal, the day this journey starts. When you start having physical problems begin documenting. the main reason for this is to see if you can help yourself figure out a few things by watching the patterns of what you are doing on a regular basis. I had a client once, she had horrible allergies and would get migraine headaches occasionally. She couldn't figure out what was triggering the headaches. I told her to start keeping a journal. What we discovered is every time she went to the grocery store and went down the aisle were all the cleaners and chemicals were she would get these migraine headaches. she obviously was allergic or had some chemical sensitivity to the chemicals in those aisles in the grocery store. sometimes we don't draw the conclusions because we just don't have enough information. if you have a family member in the hospital and they are unable to keep the journal, the family members or whoever is responsible and is speaking with the doctors and nurses should be writing everything down. If you have a very large family this is also a great way for everybody to keep up with everything that is going on. Don't be afraid to ask questions, especially about medications or procedures. get on the internet do some research before you just accept what you are being told. Look up the risk and the complications. As we age our body heals so much lower. I would think very seriously before going into any surgery after the age of 50. if you know you need something serious done, the younger the better. I love the medical community and I am thankful that they are there when you have broken bones or are bleeding. When it comes to procedures, you need to do your homework so that you know what the risk are. hospitals are very busy places, and people today are tired, overworked, stressed, living extremely complex lives. Everybody makes mistakes when they are tired and under these conditions, you don't want to be the one the mistakes get made on. these mistakes sometimes can be fatal.
Get your body ready for this shock and the recovery. Do a detox first, then load up on vitamins and minerals, but not just any. When it comes to my body I want to make sure I am putting the very best I can possibly get in it like these Organic vitamins and minerals. There are some things you definitely need to look for before you spend your hard earned cash on supplements. I have a list of questions to ask about supplements before you begin taking them. I also have some test that you can do at home to check them and make sure it is something you want to put in your body. many hard capsules do not break down in the body, you're just wasting your money.
3. Rest he is vitally important when the body is trying to heal. avoid all stress. If you feel uncomfortable about anything, I would avoid any thing major until you are comfortable or the stress has subsided. people do not know how to deal with stress in this crazy world we live in. It is something you must control and not let control you. Stress depletes the immune system. Whenever you compromise the immune system, you put yourself at risk. The immune system is vital to being healthy and recovery. A vacation is an excellent idea before anything major as vacations are typically very relaxing and normally a stress free zone. Studies prove that people who take regular vacations on a yearly basis have much better health. It is amazing how just decompressing once week a year can affect your overall health. I am a huge believer in vacations. We are letting the world wind us all way to tight. We are going at a much faster pace mentally than our body was never designed to go. and yet a much slower pace physically then our body was designed. you have to find the balance.
4. They do call it a practice. You do not want to be the first person this doctor has ever operated on. Make sure he has had lots of practice. Another thing to check out is where did they go to school, you might want to do a little background check on your doctor check with the AMA see if any complaints have been locked against him. if you're going to let somebody take a knife and cut on your body why wouldn't you want to know how experienced and what kind of expertise this man or woman actually had. It always amazes me how naive people are when it comes to the medical practice. You never know if they graduated at the bottom of their class or the top, simply because you don't ask or check. when it comes to the medical field, and lack of wisdom on your part can be costly to you. You need all the knowledge you can get, it's out there you just have to know where to look to find it. As I always say Mr Google knows everything, just ask him. I would get at least three opinions from 3 different types of doctors for anything major. Don't be rushed until you are comfortable, do your homework. Ignorance is not bliss, ignorance is just exactly that. There's no reason for anyone to be ignorant and 2015, there is more information out there then you can't even imagine. Sometimes it's quite scary to me how much information is readily available to the whole wide world. But don't get me started on that one, let's stick to the topic.
5. Always take some things from home for your hospital stay. Like your own pillow or a favorite blanket, some pictures, something to listen to music on and some very relaxing music. Pack your headset. Hospitals are so noisy it is hard to get any rest. When I worked in the hospital I hated to ever wake anyone up as I know how important that sleep is to their body. Take a small fan to make some noise in the room so that you can sleep better and not hear every little noise going on. If possible and you're not critical you may want to get a room far away from the nurses station, is it will be much quieter. Take your own pajamas, even if you have to remodel them a little bit to make it work for examinations. Make this your space while you're there and you're paying the rent.
6. Relaxing. When it comes to relaxing music reading something calming. People do not realize even sounds and electronics affect the human body. When your body is under stress you have got to combat that any way you can. There are many ways to relax, you just have to find the right one for you. I know if I have any problems sleeping at night I tried to take a nice warm bath with epson salt in it, it relaxes the whole body in the muscles. Epsom salt is nothing but magnesium. Magnesium is your healing mineral. Without magnesium your body will never heal. So this would be a good practice if you know you are going to have surgery or any kind of trauma to your system and the near future. I do it extremely regularly and it has been wonderful for my body and my skin. I believe one of the best things you can do for yourself is to try to get lots of fresh clean air, moderate exercise, eat as healthy as you can, and avoid as many toxic chemicals as possible. We do not realize how many toxins we put on our body before we leave our homes in the morning for work. Men use approximately 200 different chemicals and women are using approximately 400 different chemicals and all of the cosmetics, perfumes, deodorant, hair products, Schultz, laundry soaps, cleaning products in our home are loaded with chemicals. It is quite easy to reduce these numbers although it's not possible to get rid of them all. Let's face it girls I'm not leaving my house without my makeup. But I do try to make a better choice when I am purchasing my makeup or any products that I'm going to use on my body. The bottom line is all those chemicals to do add up, and many stay inside your body and your vital organs or in the fact. Toxins are always stored in the fact the body. The body wraps up the toxins to protect you with back, kind of like a cocoon if you will. I try to be very practical in my teaching so that people can get it and I do like to use pictures when I talk. People will remember a picture or a story much longer than just words on a page or hearing a speaker speak.
7. List of must have before I go in any hospital. I make sure I eat an extremely high vegetarian diet for a couple weeks, cut out as much meat as you can. Digestion takes a lot of body energy, digesting meat takes hours where digesting vegetables and fruits may take only minutes. again our purpose is to eliminate as much stress and save energy as we can for healing. The healing process takes a lot of energy and also your body must have the right mineral makeup 28 the body and healing. As I mentioned earlier magnesium is your healing mineral. The essential minerals are called that because they are essential every day. You have got to have them. your body cannot even absorb vitamins without the minerals. We have underestimated the power of minerals and our bodies and have only looked at vitamins. I think that's a big mistake, without minerals your hormones will fail, when your hormones fail your glands will fail, once your glands fail your vital organs will fail. That is how the system is designed to work. That is why on the death certificate it normally says death cause by multiple organ failure. I usually tell people it's kind of like a car there are some systems in the car that don't have to work like the radio or maybe even a power window. when it comes to the motor and the transmission and the vital functions around those they have to work or you're not going anywhere. so sound systems in the body can fill in the body can still survive but it cannot survive without the vital one.
