Quick Tip:
Add a slice of lemon to your green tea. One study found that citrus increases your body's ability to absorb the antioxidants in the tea by about 80 percent.

Healthy Food #2: Broccoli


Why It's Healthy:
— One medium stalk of broccoli contains more than 100 percent of your daily vitamin K requirement and almost 200 percent of your recommended daily dose of vitamin C — two essential bone-building nutrients.
— The same serving also helps stave off numerous cancers.

Quick Tip:
Zap it! Preserve up to 90 percent of broccoli's vitamin C by microwaving. (Steaming or boiling holds on to just 66 percent of the nutrient.)

— Allicin, a compound found in garlic, works as a potent anti-inflammatory and has been shown to help lower cholesterol and blood-pressure levels.

Crushed fresh garlic releases the most allicin. Just don't overcook; garlic exposed to high heat for more than 10 minutes loses important nutrients.

Garlic for Weight Loss



Garlic has been used as a form of alternative medicine for thousands of years. It may be beneficial in the treatment or prevention of heart disease, the common cold and cancer, according to the University of Maryland Medical Center. Preliminary results suggest garlic may also be beneficial for weight loss, but further research is necessary to verify these effects and determine the amount of garlic necessary to produce weight-loss results.

Potential for Calorie Burning

A study published in "Nutrition Research and Practice" in June 2012 using aged garlic extract found that taking 80 milligrams per day of this supplement for 12 weeks helped women lose weight and reduce their body mass index. Don't count on garlic to help you lose a lot of weight, however, since study participants only lost about 6.6 pounds, or about 1/2 pound per week during the study. Garlic may increase the number of calories you burn during your daily activities and decrease your body's production of fat, notes another study published in "The Journal of Nutrition" in September 2011. Before trying garlic for weight loss, check with your doctor to make sure it is safe for you. Garlic can interact with certain medications, such as blood thinners, birth control pills, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and medications for tuberculosis and human immunodeficiency virus.

I have taught thousands of people about H2O2 over the years of my quest for lifelong health, vitality and "real" nutrition. 35% Food Grade Hydrogen could well be called the fountain of youth or "The One Minute Cure" for sure. I have been using it for many, many years and it never ceases to amaze me. It is so powerful. Hydrogen is the smallest molecule on planet Earth. The 2 parts of oxygen attach themselves to the hydrogen and the hydrogen penetrates the cell wall very quickly. We all know what H2O is, we also know no life can be sustained without it. Do just a bit of research and I think you maybe able to benefit greatly from the amazing properties of H2O2! I am attaching 2 wonderful resources that I have found many years ago and I will stand by the results as I have seen them over and over! You can usually find H2O2 in most health food stores. It should be kept in the freezer. It will not freeze, that's how you know you are buying it 100% pure, not watered down. You will dilute it in the ratios you want to depending on the use of it. I use it at 50% strength (50% chlorine free water and 50% H2O2) to kill germs on things like my tooth brushes or animals dishes, it is a powerful disinfectant. I use 25% (diluted in chlorine free water) for high lighting my hair, tooth whiting, scrapes or cuts, or to give my skin a shot of rejuvenation after a bath or shower. I put a few drops in my water bottle and even my animals water to keep bacteria and viruses at bay.
